Dear Mom and Dad of AM kindergarten:

**I have some homework in my backpack!**

I have a blue notebook in my backpack. There is a message for you in it. This is my FRIDAY BOOK. Every Friday I will be bringing my Friday book home and it will have some information in there of what my job is to do over the weekend. It is important for you to see how I am doing and the more practice I have, the better I will get.

Please remind me to bring my FRIDAY BOOK back to school on Monday so I can share it with my teacher.

Please click on this link and sing this song with me! It is our circle song.

We read a story called “It’s okay to be different” by Todd Parr. We had a group discussion about what it means to be different and unique. I learned that unique means different and special in my own way. I learned that some of us wear glasses, some of us have short hair, some of us have different color skin, different shapes of noses etc.

We worked with Mrs. Tuli, Mrs. Jones and Mrs. Southworth. Ask me to tell you what I did with each of them!

Question of the day: What makes you unique?

Love,
Kindergarten
