Dear Mom and Dad:
Today we met our school
nurse, Nurse Deanna! She taught us a very important lesson about hand washing. We
used a special black light to see all of the germs that are on my hands. I
didn’t even know I had so many germs on my hands. We learned that we can’t see
germs but we know they are there. After I washed my hands (for as long as the
ABC’s song) I tested my hand under the black light! Some of us were surprised
to see that there were still some germs on our hands.
Here is the video we watched.
You can watch it with me so our whole family are hand washing experts!
Please listen to the “d” dong
with me. It will help remember how to make the sound. I learned that D is T's noisy partner.
Question of the day: What words can you think of that start with
D?
Love,
Kindergarten
