Dear Mom and Dad:
AM: We continued our work with patterns today. We
worked in partners and I had to extend my partner’s pattern. This can be tricky
because I need to carefully look at the core of my partner’s pattern. We
learned that the core of a pattern is the part that repeats.
PM: We worked with our guest teachers today on dot
and dash and scratch. Ask me to tell you what we worked on!
Question of the day: Make a pattern with objects
found around the house and post on the blog what materials you used and what
your pattern is.
Love,
Kindergarten
Housekeeping:
Parents, please note that your child needs to come through the kindergarten doors at the beginning of the day. We have had some issues where parents are sending their students through the front office. Having your child line up with the rest of the kindergarten students will allow them some time to socialize with their friends outside as well as foster independence as we prepare them for grade 1. Thank you for your support with this.

**Tanga Art
Parents can purchase their child’s art for $10.00. All of the proceeds go directly to Tanga School in Tanzania.
If you have not purchased your child’s art and would like to, please send in $10 with your child and they will be able to take their art home. Thank you!
