Dear Mom and Dad:
Ms. Cvach was away today so we had a guest teacher. We wrote in our writing journals today about what we did on the weekend. I continue to work on drawing a detailed picture and practice writings name on the lines. Some of us are trying our best to do some kid writing. Kid writing is inventive spelling using the sounds we know to form words. Some of us are practicing labelling our pictures with the sounds we hear.
Ms. Cvach's students and half of Mrs. Dei Cont's students had drumming today!
We read a book called "Red Leaf Yellow Leaf". We are beginning to look at the changes in the season and wondered about some of the changes we have been noticing. We will be going on a fall walk this Thursday to look for signs of fall and collect some fall artifacts.

Housekeeping:
The Terry Fox Run is this Friday. PM kindergarten will be attending. We will be doing the Terry Fox Run with the AM kids on Monday. If AM kindergarten would like to participate on Friday, they will need to come with a parent or guardian and be supervised at all times. The run will start at 10:30am.
If your child is in the AM and returned the pink form for a snack they will receive their snack on Friday if they come for the run or on Monday when we do the run with AM kindergarten.
