Welcome to kindergarten!

Thank you for visiting our blog! We appreciate our supportive parent community and your children will love that you are involved in their learning :)

Dear Mom and Dad:

I have completed my first two short days of kindergarten! Tomorrow will be my very first full morning or full afternoon of kindergarten.

Ask me to tell you what my teacher’s name is and what color team I am. We read a story today about a hungry snake. Ask me to tell you some of the animals that he ate!

Question of the day (please click on comment and answer the question) don't forget to post your name so we know who answered the question!:

What has been your favorite part about kindergarten so far?

Love,
Kindergarten

Housekeeping:

On Thursday, September 3  parent council will be providing Both AM and PM kindergarten kids with a chocolate chipcookie. If your child has a food allergy please ensure that they bring an alternative snack for that day.

Being independent is a huge skill children learn in kindergarten. Please encourage your child to Independently put on and take off their shoes, zip and unzip their jackets and backpacks etc.

Parents please make sure ALL of your child's belonging are labeled with first name and last name initial. We have several duplicate backpacks and shoes and this will be very helpful and prevent any anxiety when your child is looking for their belongings.

All children should have a pair of indoor shoes that are to be left in the classroom.

Please note the times for kindergarten entry and dismissal
