Dear Mom and Dad:
We have been talking a lot
about the zones of regulation. Today we focused on the blue zone. Ask me to
tell you how I would be feeling if I am in the blue zone. I learned that it is ok to be in the blue zone but I need to know some strategies I can use to move me to the green zone. We thought of some
strategies to use if we are feeling sad. Ask me to tell you what I can do if I
am in the blue zone. We learned that we all have an imaginary toolbox and the
tools I use are my strategies.
Question of the day: What are some of the things I can do if I am
in the blue zone (feeling sad)?
Love,
Kindergarten
