Dear Mom and Dad:
Do you know what a good fit goal is? Today we worked with Mrs. Bowles to think about how to make a good fit goal. Ask me to tell you about the different shoes that we looked at. We learned that picking a good fit goal is similar to picking a good fit shoe.
We talked about purpose and interest as well. If I am going snowshoeing, I would pick the snow shoes, not the high heels! Each shoe has a purpose. We then related this to choosing good fit goals for kindergarten. We also discovered that a goal that I am working on might not fit with another student in my class. Mrs. Bowles tried to wear Mrs. Ly’s shoes and it did not fit her!
We have a new activity in gym! Ask me to tell you about what station I was at today.
Question of the day: Post on the blog one thing you learned about choosing good fit goals from our good fit goals shoe lesson today!
Love,
Kindergarten
